The Clarence pub sits in the heart of the Balham community, where we pride ourselves on creating a relaxed atmosphere perfect for meeting with friends, family lunches, nervous first date territory, and pretty much everything in-between.

We have lots of treats to wet the appetite, from delicious pizzas cooked in our woodstone oven, to juicy burgers and hot-dogs with plenty of smaller snacks to suits everyone.

You will be spoilt for choices with our spirit and beer selection, with local spirits and beers made right on our doorstep, (some brewed in our sister pub The Florence in Herne Hill) as well as a wide range of wines, international and craft beers from all over the world.

With meaty and veggie brunches to enjoy at weekends, and a variety of roasts on Sundays, we’ve got all bases covered.

What's on

• We proudly show all major sports games, and with 2 screens, Sky Sports and ESPN, we do it pretty well.
• As well as all the above, we also got a variety of pub games to keep you occupied, including table football, bar billiards, a retro games machine and a huge variety of board games to entertain you with.
• We really let our hair down on Saturday nights with a live DJ’s supplying us with everything from classic vinyl treats to reggae heaven. And we applaud and encourage dancing. Especially yours. No judgements.
