At the Belle Vue, with our ever evolving selection of tasty world beers, we’re always keen to surprise you with something you haven’t tried before.  We’re no strangers to pulling your new favourite drink out of a hat like a tasty liquid rabbit and pride ourselves in having a constantly evolving selection of beers you’ve never heard of but are sure to fall in love with.

Situated right beside Clapham Common tube station we’re a cozy but lively little venue offering some niche liquids and events you’d be hard pressed to find elsewhere locally.  We love our live music almost as much as our beer and have a great selection of bands who like to crank it up to 11 every Friday from 10pm.  We’re open till late Friday and Saturday and fire out some great, hearty roasts all day every Sunday to get you back on top of your game (we’ve also got the Sunday papers, Bloody Marys and board games covered too).

Serving great seasonal and traditional pub dishes with a fresh twist we also have platters for large parties, great left field cuts of meat for Sunday sharer roasts and a top function space to hire for any occasion.  So if you’ve got a thirst for some fun times then just get in touch, we’re all over it.

Food & Drink

Our fresh seasonal menu is full of great pub classics and some interesting takes on more traditional dishes.  We also cater for large groups with our top selection of sharer platters too.  We know that sometimes, you just want something a little different, so we’re not adverse to tinkering with your dinner if you want to make some fine tunings of your own, so just let us know what you fancy and we’d be happy to help.

We’re the only bar in the area with a dedicated beer menu, and are proud of it.  We have some great offerings from Belgium, Mexico, and California, as well as an ever changing range of great British cask ales.  We’re never sated though in our quest for great undiscovered world beers so if you know of any you’d like to see on our bar or in our fridges then fire your recommendations our way, we love trying anything new, and you might even bag yourself a freebie for your troubles?

Everyone loves a good Sunday roast, and we have some of the best in Clapham, serving beef, lamb and chicken every week without fail.  Sometimes though, you just want to push the boat out and see off the weekend in style.  That’s why we offer some great options to pimp your Sunday with our ever changing Sharer Roast Specials.  We keep things fresh every week, so 4-8 of you can tuck into a whole lamb shoulder or pork belly, or maybe you fancy something a bit different such as a couple of quail roasted with rosemary and thyme?  Just let us know how many of you there are and we can come up with something unforgettable to share with your friends, taking all that hard work off your hands.

What's on

• Every Monday we host probably Clapham’s most engaging pub quiz with interactive rounds, free shots to be won, and cash prizes up for grabs.  There’s not many better ways to start the working week than pinching the cash pot from a rival team in a ‘buckaroo tie break’ round or winning your team a free tray of shots in the artistically expressive ‘play dough face-off’.  We also give pints away throughout the day to the first folks to answer our Pub Quiz questions on our facebook page, so get liking us to get involved.
• We pride ourselves on having a great selection of bands to kickstart your weekend every Friday from 10pm.  So whether you’re a fan of high tempo indie folk, great spins on unconventional covers or just simply banging anthems, we’re sure we’ve got just the band to get you on the floor.
• As you can probably tell from our beer menu and knowledgeable staff, we’re massive fans of the stuff.  That’s why we love introducing our customers to some of our suppliers so they can tell you all about where their beers come from and why they taste as boss awesome as they do.  Keep your eyes peeled on our website and facebook page for details of our ‘Meet the Brewer’ tasting evenings where we’ll have free samples on offer and some great food pairings too so you can take that knowledge and pass it off as your own next time you fancy throwing a party.
